Negine Jasmine Sekandari is an Afghan-American writer, photographer, and actress based in Los Angeles. Raised in Sedona, Arizona, her work blends humor, romanticism, and cultural complexity to explore identity, family, and community.

Her short film Fariha screened at New Filmmakers LA and the MENA Film Festival, garnering coverage from MovieMaker. Her latest short, Haram Salami, supported by Jason Reitman, is currently on the festival circuit and won “Best of Show” at its premiere at the Sakinah Film Festival.
